So Aki isn't lonely on the blog and WE WON WILDWOOD

Hey pretty ladies,

SuperMona came out in full force two weekends ago and represented you well at the world's largest beach ultimate tournament - Wildwood.

Things started off at little shaky - as these things do [these things being trying to fit 22 people into 2 hotels rooms]. We all piled things into the room and then proceeded onto the opening party. Coming back and reorganizing (while drunk) was a but of a hassle. But in the end, we were all happy and cozy. I got to share a bed with Connie and Yuan :)

On Saturday, we started out a little slow and hungover. But soon started drinking again and consequently, playing better. Friar was obsessed with the two-score deal (throwing from endzone to endzone) and everyone else went along with it. Between games, we cooled off in the ocean and played in the waves.

At one point, between games, I was walking with a plum in one hand and a beer in the other :) and I don't know if I've ever been so happy. We ended up last in our pool (oh well!), but we won out last game of the day which was a pre-lim cross over game. Our record on Sat was 2-2.

Flip was sooo drunk, she tried to play for our team at one point even though she was playing with Matty Barr. Silly Flip!

After the games, we all dispersed to eat and shower. Some peeps went to the beer garder, but said it was kinda lame. Oh well! Around 8:30pm - ish, we gathered in the "big" (VERY relative) room to watch Indpendence Day and drink Civvy's alcoholic concocktion called "Danger Zone." We all took a few swigs of that, and then moved out party out side to our hotel's back courtyard.

Luckily, we were staying at the shaddiest hotel ever, and as a result, were able to be really clamorous. We played Irish poker and Civvy and I entertained everyone with out hook up stories (of christmas past). We also made fun of a certain someone who ended up hooking up with a certain other some one in a near-by not-so-secret place. hehehe. I went to take out the recycling once we were done out side, and caught a peek of them. I yelped and ran away and don't think I interupted them at all.

Afterwards, I had the great opportunity of chatting with Jasper, Friar, and Yuri about captain stuff, which was really fun and excitement stirring. [OH MY GOD, I am so excited!] A few people left to go to the bar with out me :( so I tried to hassle some one to walk with me there, and finally John Ache agreed.

We went over the bar, and it was rockin. As per usual ( I am a drunken wanderer, dangerously sometimes) I wandered away from the Yale kids and ended up hanging out with some of my Bashing friends (they make up the team Aki plays for) and lost all of SuperMona. I heard that they had fun, and my night was a blast. I tore up the dance floor with my friend Zac.

On Sunday, we made it rain. We came out and won our quarters and semis games against formidable challengers. During out break between the semis and finals, we scrimmaged against each other and played with some Tufts peeps. At one point, we were playign 7 v 7 so we took over two fields. However, to cross the fields, you have to leap over the lava river and if you miss, you're forzen for 5 seconds. It was so much fun to leap over it!

To win finals, you had to win best out of three games. The first two were to 7 and the last was to 5. We were totally tooled in the first game, but came back with a vengence in the last two. I think we won them 7-4 and 5-2. In the last game, three out of the five point were scored by residents of 129 Nicoll [where Connie, Yuan, Ian Marpuri, and myself have been living all summer - Yuri was there for a bit but he doesn't really count. hehehe. I'm just kidding]

And we won!!!!! and we got a huge trophy!!!! It's sitting in my house now :) I cleaned it one night :) I wish you all could have been there. We really had a great time, and I hope this becomes a SuperMona tradition.

With all this winning and SuperMona-ness, I'm getting so excited for the coming season. I hope all of your summers are finishing up nicely. Please take care of yourselves.

Loooooove and layouts,
Peachy
